Commercial Risk Management welcomes Rod McCarthy

We are very pleased to announce that Rod McCarthy has joined the business as a Planner & Delay Analyst with effect from 7^th August 2017.

Rod is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, has an HND in Building and a Polytechnic Diploma in Building Production and Project Management from Nottingham Trent University.  He has worked primarily as a construction planner, although he has also had experience working in project management and design management during more than 30 years with Laing, Laing O’Rourke, Lendlease, Costain and Miller.  From these years with many of the key players in UK construction main contracting he has developed a planning skillset that can be applied to each stage of the design, manufacture & construction process.  Using any of the major industry planning software packages he is able to apply this knowledge both prospectively and retrospectively in order to predict outcomes or determine cause & effect as appropriate.

Rod has worked in most construction sectors including health, leisure, education, defence, manufacturing, retail, and infrastructure.  His experience has included most forms of contract working throughout the UK and also abroad.

 We are very much looking forward to working with Rod who will add considerable strength and experience to our team.
